Impressive! The whole Ubiquity thing, I mean. You are speaking another language (no pun) to me as an artist who has struggled to program at all, but I could mostly follow, so you're really going all out to reach the laymen ;)

I wanted to drop you a line, I found you through Extend while seeking a demo of your YARP plugin (most popular currently, congrats!) and this is the first I've heard of this project. I am interested, if you have the time, in at the least a small chat about the possibilities this opens for programming in general. The applications are endless if you guys get this right, and what better place to begin, for various reason I am sure your team was aware of when deciding on flagship implementation.

What kind of talk goes on behind the scenes about applying this to game development? Any at all? That's my biggest question - I see the genius in this, and the move to use it in this context, what a way to drive a technology! If there are ideas about implementing this for game or interactive development, sign me up for that aspect! I want to help! It would be so awesome to finally have an artist-accessible engine out here - even the available good 3D engines are designed with the coders who made them in mind, with the divide between artists and coders seemingly growing by the day - this is not good for open minded people, and benefits only those who require you to be employed before they provide the missing link.

Very interested, following the project now, and I plan to write about it soon and help to get the word out! A bit unfortunate that the demos simplify a work flow in ways that I personally wouldn't benefit from in the current states of my address books, but you guys are On To Something! Congrats again on #1 plugin!

it's been a pleasure to watch (and slightly participate in) this project take shape because your team has dissected a very complex problem in stages, asking for feedback along the way. you've been nimble enough to make the changes that are necessary. it's really been well done and one of the reasons that Ubiquity will have much bigger success. you've spent time finding out what people need in non-english speaking places and are serving them. so cool!
